General Statement

The bulk of my work is landscape.

Some times the work may have a political, environmental, cultural, erotic approach, or it may be representational.

I want to communicate with people through images. It may be a cliché or a cop-out, but I really see no need to write a elegant intellectual statements about individual works . For me the images should get the message across. I am willing to give a clue by attaching a title. Sometimes I want the viewer to react on an emotional level "that makes me feel!".

At other times the reaction should be on an intellectual plane "what's this about?". The message may be upsetting, however the challenge for me is to keep the viewer interested. Unlike many artists I don't want the viewer shocked or turned off. I like to seduce the viewer and have the message creep up on them .
